MonaLisaSmile

'Mother: The important thing is to not tell anyone.
Don't wash your dirty laundry in public.
(MonaLisa)
Betty: Look at this mother. She's smiling. Is she happy?
She looks happy. So what does it matter?'

People who look joyful the most, tend to be the most hurt.
Interesting how
womans images and their roles from the 1950s
may seem to have changed dramatically.
but have they really?
Why do we always need role images to comfirm too?
